Venice Gardens is an established, unincorporated neighborhood just east of the Venice city limits, between US 41 and Jacaranda Boulevard. It is a census-designated place with about 1,700 homes, and it is one of the best-value “real neighborhood” choices around Venice.
What the Homes Are Like
- Mostly single-story ranch homes built from the 1950s to the 1980s; the median home was built around 1974.
- Bigger lots than most newer communities, often around 9,500 square feet.
- Man-made lakes and freshwater canals, some with docks for kayaks and small boats.
- Some homes back onto the Jacaranda West golf course.
Rules and Fees
Most of Venice Gardens has no deed restrictions. Some sections have a small association, and a voluntary civic association operates a community pool and center. Every section is a little different, so we pull the restrictions for each home before you make an offer.

- US 41, Baffin Drive and Jacaranda Boulevard all touch the neighborhood.
- Jacaranda Public Library, Woodmere Park and Venice Village Shoppes are minutes away.
- Downtown Venice and the Gulf beaches are about 4 miles west.
